The independent film Unexpected has sent out a casting call in Chicago seeking people who want to work on the film as extras.
The casting director is seeking Chicago area people to work tomorrow (September 10, 2014) and this weekend (September 13 & 14, 2014). They will also be casting additional days through the first week of October, 2014. The film has a wonderful storyline and an extremely talented cast of actors.
All ages and types are needed including adults, seniors, teens, children and babies, however all talent must have the correct work permits and legal eligibility to work in the state of Illinois. Information on obtaining all of the correct work permits can be found in the Chicago Actors Resource Guide eBook available for download here.
Minors must be able to get registered with the production's casting department and have a minor work permit submitted.
The following is needed:
[GENERAL EXTRAS/FEATURED BACKGROUND ACTORS] Males and Females, ages from newborn babies through 70 years of age. No experience is necessary, and there are no fees whatsoever to be cast in the film.
There are both paid and also "volunteer" spots for extras since there will be some extras only needed for 2-4 hours on some scenes and since this is not a huge budget, production is using volunteers for some scenes and then they will of course book the same people if at all possible on another scene that is paid. If you are only interested in the paid days, please let them know in your email submission.
Regardless of whether or not you work on the paid days only, this will be a wonderful and super-fun film to be a part of.
Please send 2 clear current color snapshots (only you in the photo, no hats or sunglasses). One should be from the waist up, the other should be a full body shot. Please do not submit professional photos unless you also include the 2 current color snapshots also. In your submission, include all stats including height, weight, clothing sizes. Also include all contact information including cell phone.
